This app is based on www.orthopedicsurgeon.com, a website that indexes practicing orthopaedic surgeons and allows patients to search for providers in their area. As a surgeon, the app requires you to register before allowing access. Unfortunately, when this app was tested in September 2011, the app asked me to register but did not include my state (California) on the registration form. Then, when I elected to log in as a patient, the app said that data was unavailable. The interface is visually appealing, and the is certainly promising, however the app will require additional functionality improvements before becoming useful.
